Mumbai: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 41-year-old man has killed his minor son for allegedly stealing Rs 50 from the house in Thane.
A 10-year-old boy, Karan, was assaulted by his father, Bablu Omprakash Prajapati, and due to severe head injuries, he succumbed in the hospital.
The police said the boy’s mother suffers from mental illness.
Police said that during questioning, the boy’s sister gave the details about the incident and a case was then registered under section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
