New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 tally rose to 4,47,97,269 after 11,109 new cases were reported in a day. This is the highest number of daily cases recorded in the last 236 days.
With this, the number of active patients in the country has increased to 49,622.
According to the report released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am today, three each in Delhi and Rajasthan, two each in Chhattisgarh and Punjab and one each in Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, taking the total number of deaths due to the virus in the country to 5,31,064.
