118 new cases of corona, DDMA issues advisory for elderly and pregnant women

New Delhi: Delhi reported 118 new coronavirus cases today with a positivity rate of 1.77 per cent. This information was received from the data released by the Health Department.

Meanwhile, no death due to Covid has been reported in the city.

With these new cases, the total number of infected people in the national capital rose to 20,05,329, while the death toll stood at 26,506, the department said in its latest bulletin.

As many as 6,652 tests were conducted the previous day, which led to the detection of new cases. Meanwhile, the Delhi government has issued an order abolishing the rs 500 fine imposed for not wearing masks in public places.

More than 3 crore vaccine doses administered

Talking about vaccination, 3 crore 73 lakh 12 thousand 280 doses have been given in Delhi so far. Out of this, 1 crore 82 lakh 86 thousand 723 first, 1 crore 56 lakh 96 thousand 944 second and 33 lakh 28 thousand 613 doses have been given for preservation.

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), in a meeting held last month, had decided to stop imposing fines from September 30 after covid-19 cases declined.
