Kapurthala: District administration is all set for vaccination of 15 to 18 years age group from January 3rd as the district administration has identified 50900 people in that category.
Deputy Commissioner Deepti Uppal said that as per the recommendation of National Technical Advisory Group on immunization, the children born on or before 2007 would be entitled for Covaxin Jabs.
She also asked the health officials to ensure the separate counters at all 40 vaccination sites.
Besides that the frontline and health workers would also undergo booster dose of vaccination from January 10 with a condition that the vaccinated worker must have a gap of 39 weeks after the second dose .
The district crossed the 8 lakh mark of vaccination, with 85 % population having first dose and 52 % with second dose.
