Palghar (Maharashtra): Television actress Tunisha Sharma (20), a resident of Chandigarh, committed suicide during the sets of a serial show in Vasai in Maharashtra’s Palghar district today.
A police official said that Tunisha was shooting for ‘Ali Baba: Dastan-e-Kabul’. During this time she went to the washroom and did not come out for a long time.
Her body was found hanging inside when the door of the washroom was broken open.
Senior inspector Kailash Barve of Waliv police station said the police are investigating the matter. Tunisha was active on social media shortly before her death.
She had also shared a picture of herself, with the caption, “Those who are inspired by their hobbies, they do not stop.”
