20-year-old Punjabi youth drowned in Canada

Ottawa: A pall of gloom descended in the town of Badni Kalan when the news of the tragic death of youngster Navkiran Singh was received in Canada due to drowning. Youngster’s father Baldev Singh said that today morning they received this tragic information from a relative.

He informed that Navkiran Singh, 20 years old, studied upto matriculation in a school in village Maddoke and class XII from Government Senior Secondary School, Bilaspur. On September 3, 2021, he went to Brampton (Canada) to study health care after doing Ielts.

In Canada, he was staying in a rented house with his friends. Yesterday, he had gone to the Credit Valley River to bathe with friends at Ellderdo Park in Brapton, Ontario province, during which he died due to drowning.
