New Delhi: During the last two weeks, three Russian nationals have mysteriously died in India. Two persons were found dead in a ship parked at Sai International Hotel and one at Paradip port in Odisha. A little research has shown that at least 24 Russian celebrities died in different parts of the world in the last one year.
Of these, 6 fell from the window of the building, 5 hanged themselves, 4 shot themselves and 4 died of heart attack.
The remaining five also died under suspicious circumstances. The dead include military leaders, oil and gas billionaire Oligarch, top business executives and top officials.
According to the information, two years ago, the trend of such suspicious deaths was seen in Russia.
A report was published in Vox on May 6, 2020. It was titled ‘ Why are Russian coronavirus doctors mysteriously falling out of windows?’ Even at that time, the death trend was the same, in which the circumstances of death were unusual and there was no evidence of murder. There has been a trend in Russia for the last two decades.
The case of the suspicious death of Putin’s critics is not thoroughly investigated, so that no concrete evidence is found.
Are all these deaths related to each other and someone is behind them?
These 24 deaths in the last one year have two things in common. First, these are all people with elite status in Russian society. Secondly, these people were very close to Putin or were opposed to the Russian attack on Ukraine.
The number of such deaths is high, but that does not mean that they are all related to each other or that one person is behind it. These may include some suicides, some accidents and some murders.
There are strong grounds behind believing this. According to WHO, Russia has the third highest suicide rate in the world. According to Russian expert and professor Peter Rutland, the Russian business community is under tremendous pressure due to the war.
They have been banned, assets are frozen and shares have been seized. It’s a very stressful time for that community.
However, there is a strong conspiracy theory floating in the explanation of such deaths that Russian President Putin is behind them.
According to Russian critic Bill Broader, “When people in an industry die like this, I think it is an epidemic of murder. It is clearly visible that this is happening at the behest of the Russian power. ‘
The question arises, why would Putin do this? Browder says the government needs funds after the attack on Ukraine. The best way to get it is to kill the one who is refusing. The one who takes his place will not dare to do so again.
