250 arrested, 189 trains cancelled as Agnipath protests turn violent

New Delhi: Indian Railways is considered to be the lifeline of the common people of the country. Every day thousands of trains are operated by the railways. However, today, a large number of trains have been cancelled by the Railways, diverted and Rescheduled Train List.

The main reason for this is the protests against the Agneepath scheme. A large number of trains in different parts of the country were cancelled.

In many states like Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, there is violent protest due to the new scheme of recruitment in the Army. In many places trains have been set on fire in the name of protest. Due to this, the railways have suffered heavy losses.

The railways have suffered heavy losses. Keeping in view the law and order situation and the safety of passengers, the railways has decided to cancel a large number of trains. Apart from this, many times due to bad weather or rain, storm, etc., trains have to either be cancelled or diverted and rescheduled.

Meanwhile, over 250 people have been arrested for protesting against the scheme and damaging government property.
