CHICAGO: At least eight people have been shot dead, 16 seriously injured, in weekend violence across Chicago, police said.
A person was shot death early Sunday morning inside a Streeterville business while a 69-year-old man was shot dead at his home in Southern Kilpatrick, NBC Chicago on Friday.
The victims include people of all age groups, including a minor and a 62-year-old woman. The reports said the incidents have occurred in several areas including Brighton Park, South Indiana, North Cedzi Avenue, Humboldt Park etc.
