New Delhi: A group of 30 Afghan Sikhs arrived in Delhi from Kabul today in the wake of the growing atrocities on minorities in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan.
These Afghan nationals reached India by air.
Puneet Singh Chandok, president of the Indian World Forum, said there are still 110 Sikhs left in Afghanistan, while 61 e-visa applications are awaiting a decision with the Indian government.
Meanwhile, the evacuation from Afghanistan comes a month after 21 Afghan Sikhs were brought back to the country from Taliban-ruled Afghanistan last month amid rising violence against Sikhs.
