New Delhi: About 39 pilgrims have died on the Chardham Yatra route in Uttarakhand so far since the commencement of the Yatra, as per an official on Monday.
The cause of death has been high blood pressure, heart problems and other ailments as they were not medically fit and devotees are being advised not to travel if they have ailments and medically unfit.
