New Delhi: The work on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway has been completed by 70%, only 30% of the work is yet to be done. From next year 2023, this expressway will be ready to ply speedy vehicles.
This 1350 km long project is worth Rs 1 lakh crore. After the construction of this expressway, the distance between Delhi-Mumbai will be reduced and the travel time will also be less.
The Minister of Road Transport and Highways has informed about the progress of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, a programme organised by Nitin Gadkari.
He said that the dream of an uninterrupted connectivity between Mumbai’s Nariman Points to Delhi is going to be fulfilled. Delhi Mumbai Expressway will start from Rajiv Chowk in Haryana, Gurugram and will go to Mumbai via Mewat, Jaipur Kota, Bhopal and Ahmedabad.
