80 cases of monkeypox confirmed in 11 countries: WHO

New Delhi: The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed 80 cases of monkeypox in 11 countries.

The institute is conducting research on this new disease to find out the reasons behind it as well as the dangers.

In a statement issued on Friday, the WHO said the virus is local, present in animals in some countries. Due to this the infection spreads only between local tourists and people. Let us tell you that the epidemic is unlikely to end completely but this infection does not spread rapidly.
