New Delhi: As many as 10,853 new COVID-19 cases has been recorded in India in past 24 hours, according to Union Health Ministry’s data this morning.
During the same period, 526 Covid-related deaths were reported, significantly higher than yesterday when 392 deaths were recorded.
The daily test positivity rate – number of positive cases identified per 100 – stands at 1.18% less than 2% for last 34 days while the weekly positivity rate stands at 1.28% less than 2% for last 44 days.
The national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.24 per cent which is at the highest mark since March 2020, the bulletin showed. With 12,432 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total recoveries in the country climbed to 3,37,49,900.
