Chandigarh: Akali Dal on Sunday alleged that Congress government is going to implicate senior SAD leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia in a false case.
In series of tweet, Akali Dal said, “After trying to frame party chief Sukhbir Badal in false case, Congress is hatching conspiracy to record fabricated complaint against former minister Bikram Majithia under Sec-164 CrPC & held meeting at T-4 lounge of Delhi airport yesterday to give final shape to the plan.”
They said that conspiracy is clear by fact that Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa flew to Delhi with Cong MLA Kulbir Zira, DGP IPS Sahota, Vigilance head Harpreet S Sidhu& BoI Head SK Asthana, who met at lounge of T-4 terminal with CM Charanjit Singh Channi who carried directions of Cong high command to them.Even Cong chief Sonia Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi, and PPCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu who threatened to sit on a fast unto death if arrest is not made, are a part of this conspiracy. Congressmen are forcing & coercing police officers to register false cases against the Akali leaders.
“Entire party leadership courted arrest earlier protesting against Cong govt’s move to frame Akali Dal chief Badal in false case. We aren’t afraid of arrests. We warn CM Channi & senior police officers that they’ll be held accountable for their wrongdoings,” they said.
