Chandigarh: In yet another attack on his party in Punjab, PPC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu on Tuesday wrote a letter to CM Charanjit Singh Channi and demanded jobs for victims of firing incidents at Behabal Kalan and Kotkapura in October 2015.
He posted the letter on his Twitter handle and wrote, “It is a matter of utter discontentment that even after the passage of 6 years, our government has failed to procure jobs for the victims who were brutally injured in firing incidents happened during peaceful protest at Kotakpura and Behbal Kalan on October 14, 2015,” he said.
He said that many got killed and sustained injuries in the incident and it was duty of our government to compensate these victims.
