Punjabi singer arrested in Canada

New Delhi: KS Makhan, a popular Punjabi singer has been held by the Canadian police in Abbotsford.

He was currently living in Surrey, British Columbia. He was born in the village of Shankar in Jalandhar, Punjab.

A video of his arrest went viral on social media. According to reports and viral footage, the Punjabi artist was arrested for allegedly participating in gun violence, however, there is no official confirmation.

In 2012, he was arrested for supplying drugs in Canada from India.
