Islamabaad: Pakistan’s embattled PM Imran Khan recorded his majority in the National assembly on Wednesday after the Muttahidda Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), walked out of the coalition.

The government’s survival was dependent on this crucial alliance partner, who has now joined opposition ranks ahead of the no-trust vote.

Meanwhile, beaten by electoral calculus conjured up by a combined Opposition, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is attempting to gain sympathy by presenting himself a victim of a US-hatched conspiracy.

US State Department, however, rubbished claims that government agency sent such a so-called threat letter to the Khan government.
