New Delhi: Railway department has announced to stop providing linen and blanket passengers in AC economy coaches as trains have SMART HVAC system and controlled temperature.
The railway ministry in a letter ti all General Managers said that in view of the provision of SMART HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system for controlling temperature within the AC economy coaches, it is advised that linen and blanket in AC economy coaches may not be provided.
