Mortal remains of Indian student shot dead in Canada arrive at his residence in Ghaziabad

New Delhi: Kartik Vasudev, who was shot dead by an assailant during a robbery attempt in Canada’s Toronto, his mortal remains taken out of his native place Ghaziabad residence for final rites by authorities.

His family took mortal remains of 21-year-old international student from his residence in Ghaziabad to Hindon Ghat for final rites.

He was studying management in Canada and was killed by assailants during a robbery attempt. Kartik reached Canada in January and was working at a restaurant.

Meanwhile, Canada police had also arrested accused Richard Jonathan Edwin (39) in connection with two homicide cases, including Vasudev’s case.
