Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday has once again taken action on VIP culture by cutting down the security of several top leaders.
The security of former chief minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal and former deputy chief minister OP Soni, former union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and former Congress Punjab president Sunil Jakhar has also been reduced.
Also the security of several other former ministers has been reduced. Punjab Police has brought back 127 policemen and 9 vehicles, after cutting down security cover of many senior leaders of opposition.
These police personnel will be deployed for the safety of the people, CM said.
