Gavin Newsom overwhelmingly wins California primary

Sacramento, California: The initial results of the primary elections in California are out today. The current governor of California state Gavin Newsom has once again won the election. He got 17 lakh 47 thousand 490 votes. The second-largest candidate, Jenny Ray Lee Roux of the Republicans, managed to get only 1,000, 3,257 votes.

Gavin Newsom received 60 percent of the total votes, while his rival Republican candidate secured only 3.5 percent of the total votes. Lieutenant Governor Eleney Konalakis also won with 58 per cent of the total votes, while her rival, Angela Jacob of the Republican Party, won only 18 per cent. Secretary of State’s Democrat Party’s Dr. Sherrelli Weber won with 63 per cent of the vote, while her opponent, Rob Barnoski of the Republican Party, managed to get only 18 per cent.
