NDA nominee Droupadi Murmu set to become India’s first tribal President

New Delhi: Draupadi Murmu declared the candidate by the NDA for the presidential election, will file file her nomination today. Even though the opposition has made Yashwant Sinha its candidate for this election, but if you look at the statistics, Draupadi Murmu seems to be sure to become the president.

According to the vote value figures for the presidential election, the NDA’s position is strong. A total of 4,033 MLAs from the state assemblies, apart from 540 MPs from the Lok Sabha and 229 from the Rajya Sabha, vote in the presidential elections. The value of the votes of all these people’s representatives is calculated during the elections. The total vote value is 10. 78 lakh while any candidate needs 5. 39 thousand for a majority.
