Ontario: A British Columbia court found a Dutch man guilty of harassing a Canadian teenager, who later took her own life in 2012.

The Court has found Aydin Coban guilty of multiple charges including child luring, extortion, child pornography and harassment.

He is not, however, charged for girl’s death.

According to the police, victim, who was then 15, shared her ordeal a video posted on social media in 2012 stating that the man had tormented her online.

The video went viral and watched millions of times on the Youtube. Following this, it sparked a national debate over online bullying.

The teenager took her after her explicit photos were leaked online.

Coban was sentenced to 11 years in prison by a Dutch court in 2017 in the case and later he was extradited to Canada where he faced the additional charges including child pornography, extortion and harassment.
