Toronto: If you want to go on a road trip somewhere in the last week of August, then there can be no better time than this amid slashing prices of gas.
The overnight fall in gas prices will push gas prices to the lowest level in the last six months as estimated in the GTA.
Overnight gas prices fell by four cents to $1.549 a litre at most of the GTA stations.
Earlier such low gas prices in the city were seen in February.
Most experts say that this fall in prices will be short-lived and gas prices will increase once again in the month of September.
Roger McKnight, chief petroleum analyst at N-Pro, said earlier this week that he did not think gas prices would go up too much in the near future, but people should take advantage of cheaper gas.
