Afghanistan beat Sri Lanka by eight wickets

Dubai: Afghanistan defeated Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the first match of the Cricket T20 Asia Cup being played in Dubai today. Batting first, Sri Lanka were all out for 105 in 19.4 overs. In reply, Afghanistan chased down the target by losing two wickets in 10.1 overs with the help of Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s 18-ball 40.

For Afghanistan, captain Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman took two wickets each. There will be a match between India and Pakistan tomorrow.
