New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday carried out searches at locations in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi to crack down on gangsters having links with terror groups, officials said.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said the raids were not specifically in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, but in connection with an FIR registered by the Delhi Police against the gangsters under the UAPA Act.

The NIA has not initiated any probe into the Sidhu Moosewala case. DGP said the NIA has registered separate cases related to the network of gangsters in connection with which the raids have been conducted.
