New Delhi: Amid the Rajasthan crisis, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is going to meet Sonia Gandhi today. Earlier, Congress leader Ajay Maken, who was sent as an observer in Jaipur, has submitted a written report to Sonia Gandhi. The report has given a clean chit to CM Gehlot and recommended disciplinary action against three Rajasthan Congress leaders.

The three names mentioned by Maken are Shanti Dhariwal, Mahesh Joshi and Dharmendra Rathore and all three of whom are considered very close to Gehlot.

Earlier, Rajasthan minister and Ashok Gehlot loyalist Pratap Kachariyawas created a stir by saying that making Sachin Pilot the CM of Rajasthan means handing over the state to the BJP. In a press conference, he said that after Ashok Gehlot goes to Delhi and making Sachin Pilot the Chief Minister means handing over the state to the BJP. Kachariyawas told reporters that enforcement directorate, income tax department, CBI officials are sitting in Rajasthan.

The BJP’s game has begun. The BJP is again engaged in a conspiracy to topple the Rajasthan government.”

Sources say that the Gandhi family is very angry with Gehlot about the rebellion of his loyalists. Three MLAs of the Gehlot faction have been issued show cause notices by the high command for boycotting the Congress Legislature Party meeting. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal, whip Mahesh Joshi and RTDC chairman Dharmendrasinh Rathore have been issued notices by the Congress Disciplinary Committee on Tuesday night. All three have been asked to respond within 10 days.
