Jalandhar: An encounter broke out between police and gangsters at Manik Rai village on Adampur-Bhogpur road this morning. Heavy police force was deployed since 6 am as the police suspected the presence of gangsters in the sugarcane fields. Drones are also being used at the spot. This operation is being carried out in collaboration with The Delhi Police.
