Telus customers unable to make 911 calls in Ontario, resolved

Ontario: After the disruption in services during the night, Telus said that they have restored 911 call service to their landline customers.

Just before 7:00 a.m., the company said that it apologizes to its customers for the inconvenience caused due to the disruption in services and the service has been restored.

Hamilton Police warned in the morning that some landline users were unable to use the 911 services. The police gave this information by tweeting.

According to the company’s website, the problem was most common in Chatham, Durham, Gannock, Guelph, Halton, Hamilton, Niagara and Peel. No information has yet been obtained about what caused this problem.
