Delhi’s air becomes ‘very bad’ due to rise in farm fires in Punjab

New Delhi: Due to the increase in cases of stubble burning in Punjab, Delhi’s air fell on the air. Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘very poor’ category today.

According to data from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, this was due to a rise in stubble burning cases in Punjab.

Stubble burning was reported at 1,893 places in Punjab on Thursday and at 3,916 on Friday, the highest so far this season.
