City of Mississauga seeks seeking members to serve on its committees, local boards and authorities

Ontario: The City of Mississauga is currently seeking citizens to sit on its committees, local boards. These committees make recommendations to the city council or take decisions independently on certain issues.

Applications in this regard will be accepted from November 24 to December 15, 2022. These committees and boards are of various types, for which local citizens have to take members. These include the Accessibility Advisory Committee, heritage advisory committee, Mississauga Arts Council, Mississauga Public Library Board and others. Members will have to serve for a four-year term ending on November 14, 2026

The city is organising a drop-in-information session for those wishing to work for such committees and the application process will continue during this period.

The Council Committee Appointments Drop-in Information Session will be held on Thursday, November 24, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Council Chambers, City Hall 300 City Center Drive, Mississauga, Ontario.
