Police recovered mobile phone of a Norway citizen who was robbed in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: A few days ago, the mobile phone of a foreign youth was stolen, which has been recovered by the Ludhiana police and handed over to him on Saturday.

“Mobile phone of Norway citizen, Aspen was snatched in ludhiana during Solo World Cycling Tour. Acting promptly, Case solved within 48 hours, both the snatchers are caught and robbed mobile handed back,” Ludhiana police wrote in a tweet.

Punjab Police said in a tweet wrote that Espen Lilleengen, a Norwegian citizen on World Bicycle Tour lost his personal belongings to the snatchers in Ludhiana. Taking swift action Ludhiana Police arrested the culprits within 2 days & handed over the mobile to the victim after recovery.

Commissioner of Police Mandeep Sidhu said that two robbers have been arrested by the police team. Some people who helped the foreigner will be honoured by the Punjab Police with certificates.

Espin is on a world tour on his bicycle. His mobile phone was snatched on December 14 under the police station Moti Nagar. Now, he expressed happiness on getting the mobile back and thanked the police.
