New Delhi: After two terrible years of Covid, life in India is still not fully normal and now the disease of hands, feet and mouth has attacked. It is also known as tomato flu and has created a lot of panic in many states.

The flu is a rare viral infection, which can be a new form of hand-foot-and-mouth disease. This contagious disease mostly targets children between the ages of one and five years.

Initially, cases of tomato flu have been reported in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. The flu was first detected on May 6 in Kerala’s Kollam district. Although the flu is not seen as deadly, health experts have warned that schools may be closed once again due to the spread of the disease after the Covid pandemic.
