PM Modi pays tributes to Guru Gobind Singh’s martyred sons

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid rich tributes to guru Gobind Singh’s younger sahibzadas Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh and Mata Gujri ji on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas.

In a series of tweets, Modi remembered and paid tributes to the martyrs of Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri.

He also saluted the martyrdom of Guru Gobind for the protection of the Sikh community. Meanwhile, addressing a function organised on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, Modi gave the message of taking the country to the heights of success. He said mughal ruler Aurangzeb and his companions wanted to convert the sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh ji, but the sahibzadas were devoted to their religion due to which they sacrificed their lives.

He said that the time when Guru Gobind Singh stood like a rock against the dastardly intentions of Aurangzeb.
