Up to 30 cm of snow possible as strom hits Toronto today

Toronto: The blizzard has hit toronto and many parts of the GTA, as well as southern Ontario once again. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy rain along with snowfall on Thursday.

The warning issued by Environment Canada for the city said that raining that started on Wednesday, will continue until Thursday, during which time the conditions for driving will not be conducive.

Meanwhile, the GTA has also predicted snow of 20 to 30 cm. Halton and Peel may also receive 5 to 10 cm of snow.

Drivers have been advised by the Ontario Provincial Police to act with care and caution. It also said that 18 to 25 cm snowfall may occur in the northern and eastern parts of the GTA. The Scarborough SRT will be closed by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) from 7:00 p.m. and buses will serve until Line 3 reopens.

The TTC will close its 41 bus stops located in the hilly areas from 5:00 pm.

Meanwhile, many schools have been closed and bus services of many schools have been canceled.
