A day after gangster Bishnoi ‘s interview, SIT team meets Moosewala’s parents

Chandigarh: Jaskaran Singh, the head of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up by the Punjab government to probe the murder of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, today suddenly arrived at the house of late Punjabi singer.

The move came a day after notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi confessed that gangster Goldy Brar along with his gang members had killed Sidhu Moose Wala.

Jaskaran Singh, was accompanied by Mansa Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Nanak Singh. It is learnt that the SIT chief met Moose Wala’s family and apprised them of the government and police efforts being made for justice.

He described the interview given by Lawrence Bishnoi to a private channel as one from a jail in Rajasthan outside Punjab. He said that it was not from Bathinda jail.

It has been learnt from the information received that the team has talked about the first death anniversary of the late Punjabi singer being observed on March 19 by the Moose Wala family at the new grain market of Mansa.
