AAP, BJP doing politics on religion; creating divisions among people: Kanhaiya Kumar

Jalandhar: Former president of JNU Students’ Council and star campaigner of Congress, Kanhaiya Kumar on Friday said that BJP and Aam Aadmi Party have always done politics on religion, while Congress has made sacrifices to uphold the unity and integrity of the country.

Addressing an election rally in Alawalpur today in favour of Congress party candidate from Adampur constituency Sukhwinder Singh Kotli, he said that inflation, unemployment in India is increasing but instead of improving fiscal condition of the country, BJP is creating divisions among the people in the name of religion.

He said the BJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Akali Dal are talking about bringing about a change in Punjab, while the Congress government has already laid the foundation for change by making Charanjit Singh Channi, born in a poor family, the Chief Minister of Punjab.

He said Kejriwal used to talk about health and education earlier, but now he too is doing politics on religion.

“Kejriwal’s is in cahoots with BJP and even his speech was written by BJP people,”

Kanhaiya said alleging that BJP and AAP working together in Punjab.
