AAP leader arrested with illegal; Two accomplices linked to Bambiha gang, NIA to probe

Chandigarh: A major revelation has been made in the case of an Aam Aadmi Party leader caught with illegal weapons in Ludhiana, Punjab.

AAP leader Deepak Goyal had ordered weapons from a person named Mannu from a village in Panipat. At the same time, the other two other accused Akashdeep and Pindari Sarpanch, have been linked to the Bambiha gang. There are about 5 cases registered against Pindari.

In this case, Khanna police have arrested a person named Yadvinder Singh Yadu of village Ghudani Khurd. Pindi has revealed Yadavinder’s name. Police have recovered a pump gun and another pistol from Yadvinder.

It is being told that the arms license that Yadavinder got is also fake. At the same time, the accused arrested earlier are on police remand. According to sources, many arrests are yet to be made in Halka Payal.

According to the information, the main accused Deepak Goyal has been in jail in the past. He has a criminal record.

It is being told that Deepak Goyal wanted to contest elections in the area. According to sources, the NIA is also preparing to investigate the illegal weapons found in Khanna.

The NIA suspects that Deepak Goyal and his associates have links with a major arms smuggler. An expensive pistol like Glock has been recovered from them.
