Chandigarh: After the cancellation of the special session, the Punjab government on Saturday has forwarded the agenda of the session to be convened on September 27 to Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit after it sought the details on Friday.
On Saturday, Governor Banwarilal Purohit had written a letter to Bhagwant Mann reminding him of the chief minister’s duties. After the continuous statements coming from the Chief Minister, now the Governor has written a letter to the Chief Minister.
“After reading your statements in today’s newspapers, It seems to me that perhaps you are ‘too much’ angry with me.”
Perhaps your legal advisors are not giving you proper information. Therefore, I am sharing with you the provisions of Articles 167 and 168 of the Constitution. “Perhaps now his (CM Mann’s) argument will change because Articles 167 and 168 clearly state in the Constitution what are the duties of the Chief Minister, the letter read.
