Acted as per law while arresting Bagga: SSP Mohali on allegations of “kidnapping” BJP leader

Chandigarh: Punjab Police has justified the arrest of BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga from Delhi today.

SSP Mohali Vivek Sheel Soni said that the Mohali police, which had gone to arrest Bagga, has taken its action within the law and Bagga was not kidnapped by the cops.

He said that after a case was registered against Bagga in Mohali he was sent five legal notices asking him to join the investigation but he did not come even once to join the probe.

A team of Mohali police had gone to Delhi to arrest Bagga today and Bagga was detained from his house at 6 am, which has also been videographed.

The Delhi Police was also informed of Bagga’s arrest before he was brought to Mohali.
