Afghanistan: 21 people killed in suicide attack at Kabul mosque

Kabul: At least 21 people, including the main cleric, were killed and 33 others, including children, were injured in a bomb blast at a mosque in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul during evening prayers on Wednesday, officials said.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.

A resident of Kher Khanna area of the city carried out a suicide attack targeting the Siddikia mosque.

The name of the slain cleric was Mullah Amir Mohammad Kabuli.
