Afghanistan wins first-ever T20 series win against Pakistan

New Delhi: In the second T20 match played between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. For Pakistan, openers Saim Ayub were caught by Rahmanullah Gurbaz on the second ball of Fazalhaq Farooqi Bowling’s over and Pakistan got the first blow on the score of zero and Shafiq was declared LBW on the next ball and With two consecutive blows, Fazalhaq Farooqi shook Pakistan’s batting.

Trying to manage the team’s innings, Md Haris also returned to the pavilion after scoring just 15 runs. Imad Wasim, the only batsman from Pakistan, played a brilliant innings of 64 off 57 balls and remained unbeaten and was well supported by Shadab Khan. Shadab scored 32 off 25 balls with the help of 3 fours and Pakistan could only score 130 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the entire 20 overs.

In response, the Afghanistan Historic Win in 2nd T20 vs Pakistan team, captained by Rashid Khan, made history by winning the match by 7 wickets with 1 ball remaining.

Afghanistan had not won any international series against Pakistan so far.
