New Delhi: In a step under the Regional Connectivity Scheme, Alliance Air is going to start Alliance Air flights between Delhi-Shimla from today i.e. September 26.
Till now only nominal flights were available, which was weekly, but now regular air flights have started to Shimla.
The ATR 48-seater aircraft took off from Delhi at 7:10 am on Monday and landed at Shimla’s Jubbarhatti airport at 8:20 am. The flight then took off from Shimla at 8:50 am and landed at Delhi airport at 10.00 am. After the successful trial of the flight, it has been announced to regularize it.
Significantly, the flight service was stopped from February 2020 but was to start on September 6 in 2022, but due to bad weather, it was not possible. However, now the flights have resumed. Passengers can visit Alliance Air for more information about flights and also book tickets.

Yashvardhan Singh, deputy engineer marketing, Alliance Air Aviation Limited, said the flights were earlier scheduled to start from September 6. But for some reason it could not happen. Now after the successful trial of air flight, regular flights have started from September 26.
