New York: Amazon has started mass layoffs. The company notified its regional executives in California on Tuesday that 260 more individuals would be evacuated from various centers.
The retrenchment move will come into effect from January 17. Amazon has more than 1.5 million employees worldwide.
According to sources, the company will lay off around 10,000 employees.
