Kapurthala: Residents of village Nijampur, district of Kapurthala nabbed a person from village gurdwara who they allege was seen at gurdwara at around 4 AM while allegedly attempting to sacrilege Nishan Sahib (Sikh flag).
Locals said that when they spotted him, he tried to escape but they caught him at 5 AM. Video of the person being thrashed by villagers has also gone viral on the social media. They say that he only told that he was “sent” from Delhi.
The suspect was killed by locals and situation is tense in the Kapurthala and heavy police have been deployed in the district.
