Doha: The teams for the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup being played in Qatar have been decided. The semi-finals will be played on December 14 and 15. The first semi-final will be played between Argentina and Croatia at 12.30 am on Wednesday.

In the second semi-final, France will face Morocco at 12.30 am on Thursday.

Morocco defeated Portugal 1-0 in the quarter-finals to make it to the semi-finals. Morocco is the first African Arab team to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup. Croatia beat Brazil 4-2 in a penalty shootout to reach the semi-finals, while Argentina’s team defeated the Netherlands 4-3 in the penalty shootout to reach the semi-finals.

On the other hand, Croatia’s team will try to win the final for the second time by defeating Argentina. Argentina have won the World Cup twice so far (1978 and 1986), while three times they had to be patient by finishing runners-up.

Argentina lost the World Cup finals in 1930, 1990 and 2014. On the other hand, if Morocco’s team manages to beat France in the semi-finals, then they will be the first African Arab team to reach the World Cup final.
