Chandigarh: The 27-year-old son of arrested IAS officer Sanjay Popli has committed suicide by shooting himself with his father’s registered weapon here on Saturday.
It is being reported that the vigilance team reached the house of Sanjay Popli today and in the meantime, the vigilance team and his son exchanged heated arguments and later Popli’s son (Karthik) shot himself.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Popli’s wife accused the vigilance team of killing her son.
In the meantime, SSP Mohali said that Kartik himself shot dead and further investigation is underway.
