Chandigarh: On the advice of India’s head coach Rahul Dravid, left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh will play five matches for Kent in the next county season of England. Kent County team has given this information on their website.
“Kent Cricket is pleased to announce that Indian international bowler Arshdeep Singh will be present to represent the team in the five matches of the County Championship between June and July.”
Their presence will however be subject to mandatory approval. Arshdeep said that he has decided to play county to hone his skills in playing with the red ball.
Arshdeep made his odi debut with a match against New Zealand in November last year. He has played a total of 29 international matches for India in limited overs.
