Canberra: Following a slump in postive rate, Australia has decided to open its borders to all vaccinated tourists and business travellers from February 21.
Some of the world’s toughest travel restrictions were imposed by the Australia on travellers and its citizens as well as for permanent residents in March 2020 in a bid to contain virus spread in the country.
The country had started relaxation norms jn November last year after intensify its vaccination drive among the Australian population, international students and skilled migrants, while welcoming them back.
In a fresh directions issued on Monday, authorities said that the border to be reopened to all vaccinated visa holders from February 21.

Home Affairs Minister Karen Andrews said that travellers can be exempted from the mandatory vaccination, if they could furnish proof of a medical reason that why they could not be vaccinated.
